This kit provides the components to build a Webb 2,000 Gallon Tender. It has an inside bearing

chassis and can be built compensated, sprung or rigid. Webb buffers are supplied, but these can be

exchanged for any of the other types from our range if your chosen prototype had a different type.

However, wheels/axles, homblocks and couplings are not provided. Solder assembly is advised,

although the white metal parts may be satisfactorily glued in place.

The etched parts are referred to by a two part identifier. The first, alpha, part indicates which sheet

the component is on, the second, numeric, part identifies the parts identity. In some instances where

there is more than one instance of an item but on two different sheets then they will have different

identifiers, but either part can be used.

The wheels should be 3ft 9inch 10 spoke, Slaters ref 7845 are suitable.

Kit History

This 7mm scale kit was originally marketed by London Road Models went to the FourTrack Models

stable in 1996 and passed on to Dragon Models in 2008. These instructions, by John Shelley, are

based on the original ones.
